This is a part-time position, with an opportunity to earn additional hours and promotions based on overall performance.
Qualifications & Requirements (ALL Required) Must be 21
years of age.
Must have a valid ID and Social Security Card.
Must successfully pass a criminal background check with no prior history of theft.
Flexibility to work any shift assigned to include days, nights, weekends and/or holidays.
3 years sales and retail experience, inside and outside of the industry.
2-3 references of your former managers/colleagues.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Leadership experience/skills.
Must be a self-motivated team player with a positive friendly attitude.
Works well as a member of a group.
Provide prompt and friendly customer service as soon as customers enter the store.
Speak effectively between individuals.
Inspired to perform well when granted the ability to set own goals.
Devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty and integrity.
Serve as a cashier for all transactions, understand how to run and operate POS systems, and maintain proper cash accountabilities.
Must be able to complete various daily duties:
sales, cashiering, cleaning, tracking and stocking inventory, and complete required shift reports.
Daily cleaning duties:
Sweep or vacuum, and mop floors.
Dust/wipe down counters, shelves, and products.
Organize and restock inventory.
Clean restrooms.
Clean the parameters of the building.
Empty full trash bags into the garbage dumpster.
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
(ex.
inventory boxes).
Continuing education to maintain knowledge of all product information, merchandise promotions, and advertisements.
Assist in floor/cooler moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and store housekeeping.
Count money, verify counterfeit currency, make correct change and issue receipts.
Follow all state and federal regulations on selling tobacco and alcohol.
Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Read, analyze, and interpret documents such as receipts, inventory orders, emails, etc.
Respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the community.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and practices as laid out in the handbook.
Admin experience, filing documents (hard copies and digital).
Google Workspace experience is a plus.
Assist in social media content and management.
Assist with throwing events.
Community outreach.
