Our dental office is seeking an experienced Expanded Function Dental Assistant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the dentist with procedures, taking x-rays, managing patient records, and ensuring a high level of patient care.
Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist with procedures, including restorative and surgical procedures.
Take digital x-rays and process them for the dentist's review.
Sterilize instruments and equipment.
Manage patient records and ensure they are up-to-date.
Educate patients on postoperative care.
Keep the office clean and organized.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Expanded Function Dental Assistant certification.
Minimum 1 years of experience as an EFDA Experience with digital radiography and dental software systems (Open Dental preferred) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Attention to detail and accuracy.
